The short course will run a negotiation, to allow participants to discuss and identify key negotiation skills and tactics; the half day will identify and explore the key skills, and also explain the negotiation matrix and allow participants to build one for a particular negotiation scenario; and the full day programme will run a series of case studies to allow participants to practice key skills and tactics, and counter those used by others.

We always provide a variety of learning approaches in each of our workshops.
Each workshop typically includes learning input from the trainer, supported by a range of mixed media, interactive elements, discussion and group work. Most workshops also include case work and practical skill-development activities to apply the learning, with more time dedicated to this in the longer courses.
'Want more?' resource pack
In addition to providing a copy of any slide deck, we always provide a ‘want more’ section, of curated resources including book summaries, podcasts, downloads and articles.
My attention can easily wander, but this was never the case here, largely due to the variety of learning approaches used. Never a dull moment!

What is negotiation?
Essentially it's a discussion, based on trade and bargaining, that to be successful leads to a 'win-win' outcome.

That will be due to any combination of better skills, tactics and experience - all of which you can be good at too - and these training courses will help you with all 3 of these ingredients.
What's the single most important skill of a negotiator?
